Michael Sharon has been designing lighting for over 25 years. Working primarily on industrials and corporate events, he is equally at home designing for concerts and parties. A graduate of Carnegie-Mellon, he gave up theater to tour with rock and roll bands, then moved on to corporate industrials. After 18 years of freelance work as Michael Sharon Lighting Design, he formed Light Touch Designs, Inc. in order to provide even better service to his growing list of clients.
My job as a lighting designer is to sculpt the energy in a way that supports the show. The lighting should be visually interesting, appropriate to the message, and build on the client’s story. My passion is not only to make the client look good, but to feel confident.
